The Holy Hill

Psalm 3 presents us with a striking image of God’s care – He is the “lifter of our heads”. When we are downcast, oppressed, and discouraged, we cry out to God. And when we do, He answers us from His holy hill, defends and protects us, and lifts our heads, raising our eyes again to gaze on His glory. Have you come to worship today weighed down with troubles and concerns? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Come to God’s holy hill, and allow Him to lift your head, taking your eyes off of yourself, and fixing your gaze on Jesus Christ. Join David in praising God, for “salvation belongs to the Lord!”
