What To Ask For In God’s Presence

This morning, you have entered into God’s presence, and you stand in front of Him. After falling down in worship, what do you say to Him? What things do you want God to do? In Psalm 10, we have an example of how to pray. The Psalmist’s concerns are the same as God’s: he calls on God to break the arm of the wicked and to protect the innocent, enacting justice and working righteousness in the world.

So as you worship God this morning, realize that the world is not a safe place for wicked people. Confess your sins, and allow God to cleanse you. Then come to God, and ask for things that God loves to give: justice, mercy, and peace.
